North Region State Meet for Powerlifting

Nine athletes represented the Ellis County United Special Olympics delegation in powerlifting at the North Region State Meet in Bedford, Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 25. Two men and seven women competed in three lifts: bench press, squat and deadlift. The team earned four bronze, nine silver and seven gold medals in individual lift competitions, and also brought home two bronze, two silver and one gold medals in overall combined competitions. Important ECU Cycling Team Dates 2020 Registration and Payment due: Feb 15 Practice Starts: Feb 29, Saturday Medicals Due: Feb 29, Saturday Area Bike Races: April 25 at BNSF Railway in Fort Worth.   Online Registration:  Practices will be at Daymark Living (818 Cantrell St, Waxahachie, TX) from 10 am to 11 am on Saturdays from February 29th to April 18th.   We will be within the Daymark gated community. ECU Swim Team DIVES into State Competition We are so stinking proud of our "little" county aquatics team! Seeding is where our times come in for the events submitted. Rolling with Raymond

Raymond (Ennis HS) excels in Bocce.  If you want to know how to have a good time while playing bocce, you’ve got to come play with him! He knows how to enjoy the game and score the points. If you’ve been interested in Bocce we hope you’ll come out with us for next year and maybe even join us at State!

Flag Football Kick Off!

The first years that we start new sports are often a small group of athletes interested in learning skills.    For the Fall of 2019, we brought together a dedicated group of young men who love FOOTBALL!  We look forward to competing at area competition in the Fall 2020 with individual skills or a team.
